A DAY, GET YOUR A GAME ON, A

Pretty Little Liars spoilers for the ENTIRE DAMN SHOW behind the cut.

HAHAHA OH MY GOD YOU GUYS CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE HOW MONA ASKED SPENCER TO BE PART OF THE "A TEAM" CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

Seriously though, excellent work, writers of PLL, on your homage to horror. The season finale was smothered in references, and it was glorious. Hannah in the shower, getting all Psycho'd on? Spencer pulling the parking break in the car (which seriously threw me back to the end of Veronica Mars season 1, if you know what I mean (you should know what I mean, that's not a euphemism so much as saying, if you have seen that show, you will know what I'm saying)). The fact that they had a (POSSIBLY MYSTERY) character dressed as the Black Swan. Mona looking very serial-killery behind bars at the end.

Seriously dudes, the whole thing was a masterpiece. In my mind.

DID IT ALL EVEN HAPPEN? DID WE ALL JUST GET INCEPTIONED?

Sorry about the caps. I'm still riding on the adrenaline high of this show.

I think Mona as A (OR IS SHE) is excellent. I feel like her motives are a bit more comprehensible and, honestly, lend themselves more to obsessive, stalkery behavior than, say, Jenna, or someone just being a complete sociopath and trying to destroy the lives of these girls for no real reason.

"You stole my only friend. She was my only friend."

HOW IS THAT NOT THE VOICE OF SOMEONE WHO HAS A SHRINE. That is completely someone who builds a shrine.

Seriously though, that's actually something that resonates with a particular pathology, and not just a random "OMG BITCH IS CRAZY" that sort of would've had to go with Jenna or Melissa being outed as A. I could see Melissa being a complete sociopath, I guess, but I can't see her acting anonymously.

Anyway, the real drama of the evening, in my mind, was the body that may or may not be Maya. Did you see that coming? I didn't see that coming. I could've guessed that Mona was A, I could have even guessed her being a secret super genius, but I didn't see Maya's body showing up in Rosewood. That just seems too crazy.

What do you think? Did the A TEAM (still getting a thrill of joy and giggles from that) kill Maya, for.... some... Look, I'm sure they could come up with a reason if they felt like it. And what was that, with Toby, being all, "Pretending I didn't love you is the hardest thing I've ever done," because, what was his master plan, other than going and finding the therapist?

GUYS I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS. RESOLVE THEM FOR ME.
