Great news, everybody that's concerned about my ability to feed myself!
I have multiple possibilities for jobs!
YAYYYY.
I spent the morning sending out my resume and cover letter to what felt like billions (but was probably closer to 15) of different lab tech job postings. This afternoon, I not only get a note from a neurology lab saying I seem like a good candidate and when can we talk, but ALSO get a note from one of my lawyer friends saying I'm up for a position with his firm and another firm in the city for a paralegal position! AND my dad's lawyer friend, who is maybe the nicest guy ever, is in town this weekend with his wife, and we're going to meet up, and he has been talking about getting me a job as well.
THINGS ARE SUDDENLY ON THE UP AND UP FOR ME, MES COPAINS.
Though the Wisconsin job still sounds good... The good part about applying for lots of jobs, apparently, is that multiple people will get back to you about multiple jobs.
Now, if only Google would get back to me about that position repairing electronics in Finland...
But seriously though. Jobs! Jobs! Everywhere! All it took was sending out my resume about 348953472894732894732891473289 times! That's not that many!
